The Sundeer, the International Gathering of Knowledge Keepers, is held every August — in 2026, from August 5-9, for the twelfth time.
The Sundeer is an open, international gathering inspired by the meeting of knowledge keepers, wise elders, shamans, healers, teachers, artists and visitors from various cultures around the world.
Meet us at the new venue in Lengyeltóti, at the Manas Garden, 150 km west of Budapest, near the southern shore of Lake Balaton!

What happens at the Sundeer?
Teachers, healers and musicians arrive from multiple continents to share their wisdom and lead ceremonies that open doors to understanding the richness of various cultures around the world — nurturing respect, connection and remembrance. The Sundeer was born in 2015 and has been flourishing ever since, thanks to the vital bonds of openness, healing and love. Over time, a deeply nourishing connection has developed between the sacred place, the people who gather here, and the ever more diverse and growing circle of guests who return year after year — united by a shared desire to reconnect with the roots of life.
Our Purpose
The Sundeer is not merely a place where we can experience profound moments — it is a seed we carry home. What we evoke, heal and awaken here goes far beyond these five days. It lives on in our families, our communities, and in the steps of our everyday lives. With open hearts and souls rooted in love, we become bearers of transformation — living reminders that another way exists. We are all sparks of change, guided by the wisdom of the Earth and the memory of interconnectedness.

The Sundeer is a sacred space where the living memory of ancient traditions meets the shared heartbeat of a community nourished by deep attentiveness and mutual respect. We are invited to inhabit the experience of ritual, to share our knowledge, and to weave our stories together in the quiet embrace of the Earth. At the Manas Garden — this natural sanctuary, 150 kilometres west of Budapest — the landscape unfolds like an ancient whisper, evoking enchanted forests that, like memory itself, become both refuge and nourishment for the soul. Our gathering, held for the twelfth time in 2026, continues to be guided by the threads of openness, healing and love — every gesture, word and ceremony reminding us that we are part of an ancient continuity, calling us back to the roots, to the sacred, and to the deeper communion of life.
