Session 1: Let’s get to know the haka — what it means, where it comes from, and what variations exist. We can learn about the rituals associated with it before and after battle, as well as the protocols for men and women. This haka was created by myself, honoring feminine energy — Mother Earth, Papatūānuku, who gently carries us on her back. Ko Ahau… I Am. We will perform this haka together, uniting feminine and masculine energies.
